I live in NY and need to have a plate in the front. But my car didnt have the bracket for the front plate, and it looks beeter this way, but i dint want ot get tickets.

Has anyone installed the motorized slide out plate?

stillen plate bracket. it screws into your tow hook mount.

just take the OEM front bracket, buy 2 - 5x1/4" bolts from Home Depot and bolt the license plate frame to the lower grille. Then attach the license plate frame to the bracket. Voila, no drilling and you still have a front plate.

This is a good idea, but i have the AWD, which has the NON-SPORT bumper.

you could just do it on one side...it'll only cost you ~$4 where as the stillen one costs like $150...

You can always just ziptie it to your lower grill....a bit ghetto but it works.

Thanks for the info..i guess ill take a chance and drive with out the front plate..Espessially in NY the NEW plate color is bright orange, just looks bad on a white car.

Get the Stillen tow hook license plate holder. I've seen it in person and it looks pretty good. Best of all is you can remove it anytime.

I just used a heavy duty zip tie and mounted the bracket to the front grill, then attached the plate.

man that sucks to have to put a plate on your front pumper and its ORANGE what happened to good ol black and white
