2011 G37 Coupe changes from 2010

Looking to get a new G37 but I'm afraid to get the 2010 and then they come out with the 2011 and there are some major changes to the body or interior. Has anyone heard about what they may be changing in the 2011 G37 Coupe ?

I don't think there will be any significant changes at all.

I'm in the same boat and am just waiting to hear definitively one way or the other. There was a rumor at R&T that there might be a significant change in the next iteration.

Nice concept picture, but they are talking about the next generation of G's. The current generation is still only a couple years old...with a few more to go.

Don't expect any significant changes for 2011 tho...

the 2010 is an awesome car, from what I've read they are overdue for a full refresh? My guess is either there will be zero changes for the '11 and we'll see a refresh later. Just guessing =D

The current model has been out since the 08 model year. I wouldn't expect anything major until at least the 2012 model year.

1st Gen G35: 2003 - 2007
2nd Gen: G35/G37: 2008 - 2012

The current model is selling fairly well. Although the 2nd Gen coupe was a evolution IMO instead of a redesign, I don't see them shortening the model cycles anytime soon for the sake of costs.

My guess is the 11 will get some minor exterior cosmetic changes just like the '06 models. '05s and '10s got updated interiors, so it would make sense for them to change the lights, etc. for the '11s. Probably something like the fog lights on the sedan.

Lol - that concept pic looks like the bastard child of a Hyundai Genesis and a CTS Coupe.

I hope it's not like that concept pic because that looks too much like the Altima Coupe and those are hideous...

I agree and on rare occasions newer is not better! I think I read somewhere they were thinking of making car bigger and heavier.

I would look for the sedan to debut during the 2012 model year since it's a year ahead of the Coupe, then 2013 for the Coupe debut.

So for those who want to wait it out, I wouldn't hold my breath. And speaking from experience, never buy the first year of a new gen car. I've done it twice, and it is a self correcting mistake that I wish I would have figured out earlier.

The only thing I wish I would have waited on was the 1.9% financing vs the 2.9% I'm paying currently.

I doubt that there will be any changes next model year.
