The issue I have with most of the aftermarket parts is the level of testing.
Most if not all aftermarket companies do not do the level of testing that an OEM would do. Through my work I do have first hand experience in working with aftermarket suppliers, and the level of testing is usually minimal (bolt it on the car and drive it around the block... if it works sell it).
I bought my G37S as a daily driver and want it to be reasonably reliable in all weather and situations , that is important to me.. If it was a track only car or a hobby that might be different.

Totally stock-----Why mess with perfection!!!!
I've had my G almost 2+1/2 years-- 5,100 miles
paint is still perfect, no stone chips
never driven in rain, snow, or salt
never had the wipers or rear window defroster on, except for the day I bought it, to make sure they worked!!

Well, thank you but I liked it my way because we stockers are not known to disparage the modders. It usually comes from the other direction. It’s been suggested to me more than once that I shouldn’t bother to be a member here because I have a stock G. I’ve also had my car described as “ridiculous” because of no mods, specifically tint. Even post #33 in this thread, albeit in a nice manner, seems to support this feeling among the pro-modders.

Furthermore, we never have to worry about getting pulled over for an illegal mod, our warranties are never voided, our garages or storage areas are not cluttered with OEM parts we don’t know what to do with, and we often spend the money saved on other pleasures.
Anyway I don't wish for this thread to deteriorate into a modded vs non modded pissing match or for anyone to do any bashing on anyone. I guess it's just here as a type of "support group" for non modders to feel some solidarity by realizing that there are a minority here who love their cars stock and still use and enjoy the forum. And have every right to do so.
More power to you guys. Happy modding, err, stocking!

If we're keeping count, my G37S is Stock, unless a clear bra is a mod. A window tint was tempting, but front door window tints are illegal here. I do enough driving (and tasting) in wine country that I'm not inclined to provide reasonable cause for a traffic stop.
More importantly, I think the car looks fantastic as it is, and think many of the mods I've seen here detract from the G's great appearance, or say things about the driver/owner that I would not want said about me.

I disagree. When I'm sitting at a red light, my stock G says to the guy in the other lane, "My car is faster than yours."
