I think he knows that and is saying, shouldn't we get products from nismo that are already made for cars similiar to ours before we have an "IPL"..

Right, but what I'm saying is...I dunno if that will necessarily be true if the product line is completely seperate with different target consumers. i.e. F sport Vs TRD.

Having a look through the USPTO for "Infiniti" also shows that they recently (March 2010) registered the mark "Infiniti Direct Hybrid" so I guess that's what they're calling the hybrid drive system.

"IPL? Since Infiniti is a division of Nissan, that actually makes it 'N-IPL'. I guess a tuneup on one of these would be "tweaking a N-IPL". Or when doing an overhaul, you'd have to order N-IPL rings."

Thats an ugly logo. But I am all for a performance line.
