No premium pkg with 6MT??

So I was on Infiniti webesite and noticed under the build your car feature that there was no option for the premium pkg with the 6MT. However if you look under the options/spec sheet most of the premium pkg items are listed as standard on the 6MT. Of course the build your own states the 6MT comes with all journey std equipment plus sport pkg and manual tranny. So which is it? I would imagine the spec/option sheet would be more accurate.

For the newer year models, Premium Package options are already included with the base 6MT models.

True, but it's only the 2010 6MT model that has the premium package standard. In 2009, premium package was a separate option package even on the 6MT.

I almost bought a 2009 last year, but decided to hold off until this year instead...that's the only reason I know about the 6MT package changes. Interestingly, the sticker price is slightly lower on the 2010 than the 2009 with the options I wanted. I think it's because of the way they have the option packages this year. The only options I'm getting are navigation and rear spoiler and the MSRP is lower than a 2009 6MT with premium, navigatons and rear spoiler. Hmmm.....

Unfortunately, the 6MT also now comes standard with the rear sonar sensors, which is something that I'd rather not have. I'm not a big fan of the sensors on the rear bumper, but I guess they do break up the big, flat bumper a little bit, so they don't look too bad. I just don't understand why cars with a back-up camera also come with the rear sonar. Seems like overkill to me. I guess I'll have no excuse if I back over one of the kids in the neighborhood.

do you konw how many older clients come in w/ smahsed up bumpers? Even w/ the prediction lines they get so used to waiting for the beep before they stop. I like the corner sonar sensors in the coupe which are angled better than the sedans

what I dont understand is why infiniti makes the rear camera standard...but not the sensors....when the sensors are probably cheaper.

now all they need are front facing sensors. I had them on my last Jag, they were awesome
