Except with the 5AT.. you don't have to shift as much, can't simulate that.

A lot of people are comparing the 5AT Sedan loaner to the coupe... The 5AT coupe and 5AT sedan are calibrated different. The 5AT Sedan has a more on/off feel than the coupe. So in conclusion test drive both and make your own decision.

Personally I love the up shifts in the 7AT at full throttle in MM. That aspect is better than the 5AT. The shifts are more direct.

I hate hunting for gears in the 7AT when downshifting. The 5AT is much better to me in this regards. With that said, I think that Infiniti should have gone with a 6AT.
