Hey guys I just sold my 2005 sti and I will miss it dearly but its time to move on to bigger and better things and have decided to buy a g37. I am looking at buying a 2008 g37 base. The one im looking at has 21,300 miles one owner car no history. We came to a price of 24500. what do you guys think of the deal? car has a few minor scrates but nothing mayjor my biggest issue is the steering wheel, I posted a picture of what damage is there any way to fix this issue?

What is that? did the driver pick at it?

This is what kind of scares me about soft textured plastic. I don't want it to come off in 5 years.

2008 steering wheels do this. I believe the problem was fixed in 2009. My 08 sedan did this and I tool excellent care of it. It just wears down real easy. For an 08 with that many miles, it looks pretty good.

I have this issue as well. It's an easy cheap fix. Don't worry to much about it. Coming from an STi the biggest concern you should have is if you should get the S or not.

Where are you from? Is it private or dealership? I got my base with 21k miles for 26k. Im in Cali, got it from a dealership so I guess I paid $1000 more but Ive seen base models go for 24-25. I think cars in LA area are a little more expensive imo.

Don't ever touch that part of the steering wheel! Even breathing on it can scratch it lol
