Have you read some of your past posts...it's pretty blatant on how you feel about the G.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the S2K..., great handling (even though the earlier ones were prone to snap oversteer), great power delivery (over 6000 rpm), very involving (as opposed to say an EVOX MR that 'hides' your mistakes) and VERY track reliable. it's when S2K guys think their cars are track gods...when there are other cars that get around the track much faster without stepping beyond it's price range.
Z's love to pick on s2k's for some reason... they think an older car is their rival/benchmark.

And no, the Z isn't a real sports car. Come on, it lacks front camber adjustment. Even a Miata can do that.

I'd love to see you find me a two door car that laps a balanced track significantly faster than a s2k stock for stock in the same price range. Tires and brakes obviously would need to be normalized, as well as alignments within factory specs. Oh wait, such a car doesn't exist. The closest you can get is a EVO or STi. The Z is not a track machine at all.

Did I mention a street prepped (off-the-shelf coils, street tires, full interior) s2k with a stock engine laps Buttonwillow 1.5 seconds slower than a 700hp gutted GT-R on hoosiers? Refer to: http://superlapbattle.com/blog/resul...e-finals-2009/

I'll start taking Z's more seriously when I see more at the track.

95% of the track population is:

Porsche
Viper
Corvette
EVO
STi/STI/WRX
S2k
Lotus
Miata
BMW 3/M3

Occasionally you see one or two of some other make, but that makes up the vast majority of the track population =\

Taken last Sunday

I guess you didn't get the joke...

*edit*

Do YOU have any on-track experience? I was SCCA licensed, and occasionally instruct. I have a very good idea of what a stock car can do at most local tracks. Am I fast? No. There are plenty of drivers faster than me. My limits are currently lower than my car's limits.

I did...that's why I'm laughing....

and here are some lap times that show that the Z isn't total inept around a track:

Nürburgring lap times
Nürburgring lap times - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
8:39 Honda S2000
8:26 Nissan 350Z

Willow Spings
Willow Springs lap records - FastestLaps.com
Nissan Nismo 350z 1:36.53
Honda S2000 Type S 1:36.6

Tsukuba Track : Best Motoring
YouTube - M3 vs. 350Z vs. S2000
350Z: 1:06:88.1
S2000: 1:08:88.5

so you see...the 350z (even with it's portly weight) can still move okay around a track, I've even seeen the auto transmission ones do fine too...of course their level cannot compare to the awesomeness of the S2K

i think you may have to hire an attorney who is familiar with Canadian Lemon law?

first car was S2000 at 17 yrs old and drove nothing but S2k and i still have the S2k... i thought i would give it a try on the nissan but i learned a big lesson
I wish I had an S2k when I was 17! Sorry about your bad luck with Nissan. Been a Honda guy till I bought my G37. Honda (and acura)'s new stuff has been pretty uninspired to me as of late. Hence my G37 purchase. My sis had a G20 for a long run, may my G37 provide the same pleasure. Sorry about your misfortune

You cant say one brand has no problems at all, every brand has lemons, its just about luck i guess.
