I'm getting a 2010 G37 pretty soon, but I still can't decide whether I want a white or black G37. I've wanted the black for long time, and people tell me that white is a bit girly, but then the white looks really nice, you can really see all the details of the g37 when the black doesn't look as detailed?
I am in the same boat as the OP in the sense that I am about to purchase a 2010 G37S and had considered both black and white, but IMO white is just sleek and classy, especially when coupled with black rims, tints, etc... Don't get me wrong, I have always had black cars, but when they're dirty (which is most of the time) they look super dirty, also, if not cleaned properly, swirling and deep scratches are VERY EASILY visible, unlike when you have a white car. Also, black cars absorb heat so if you're trying to stay cooler stay away from them... Just my 2 cents
P.S. My Father-in-law just bought a Black G37 Sedan and the damn thing is impossible to keep clean, although it does look beautiful when it is (10% of the time!!)

I have had both black and white cars and hands down it is white for me. Black does not show dirt near as much and scratches are way less obvious. That being said, when clean black is hard to beat.
My 08 G37S was black. It was a total nightmare to keep it clean (and I ended up with apocalyptic swirls). I went with GS this time specifically because of how bad the black was to maintain. I still think black is the best looking color but not once the swirls set in. Besides with white you can do all sorts of stuff like black out the roof and the diffuser etc....
