Umm no the OEM exhaust is actually just relatively quiet. Of course it makes noise, that would be stupid to say it doesn't make noise but it IS quiet

I was being sarcastic, but the G is just too damn quiet for a "sports" car.. The previous G sounded much louder and sexier

I totally disagree Sam. I've driven the 335i, S5, IS350, and Genesis coupe and the G37 has by far the loudest stock exhaust note out of them. In fact, I love the stock G exhaust so much I wouldn't even consider an aftermarket one....

No you're right Sam. I've got 18K miles on mine and it's relatively quiet. Yes, the sound is great, just quiet.

You stay in the speed limit most of the time and when you see the fuzz and except when passing. Otherwise it pays to know the speed traps on your commute. 65 feels like 35 at times you have to really pay attention.

Has anyone here ever been arrested or lost their license for speeding. I'm talking 100 in a 45. Or 120 in a 70.

I got pulled over doing 112 in a 65 and thank God he didn't do anything but the law in CO is ANYTHING over 90 regardless of the limit is supposed to be suspended license and at least 1 night in jail

I have a friend who passed a cop in his RX-7 at 165 in a 55. He never saw the cop but was pulled over about 5 miles later (off the highway) when the cop finally caught up with him. He was pulled out of the car at gun point and spent the night in jail before losing his license for 6 months.

wow. I don't think I've ever actually heard someone claim 165mph. That makes my normal 100-120 look pretty tame.

The losing your license thing is somewhat scary...sigh. I've been fortunate so far.
