You deserve a nobel prize for dealing with this shiat for 8 years, I would've quitted a very long time ago

If you think keeping your wife is worth all the headache you're going to go through in the future then keep her, otherwise you're going to have to move on I'm afraid

your wife needs to create consequences and ultimatums for her children. this type of behavior is pathological. sounds like the kids have drug problems, conduct problems, and an enabling mother. parents often think they cannot turn their backs on their own children, but sometimes that's the only thing they can do. and if parents are in disagreement over this issue, it can lead to divorce.

i would recommend finding an outside person to help counsel you or both of you. someone who has experience with your situation. try not to beat the sh*t out of the little schmuck who vandalized your new car - no matter how satisfying it may seem at the time. someone has to be the grownup, and it doesn't sound like it's the children or your wife.

I'm sure its not that easy to just get up and leave (after 8 years) but it sounds like you're in a no-win situation. If the kid is doing this type of **** right now, things will probably get worse as he gets older - believe me, I know (b/c I have a brother like that).
Probably the best case is just to end it - as tough as it is right now, it will better in the future.

Sorry to hear about the situation. Seems like your really mad and need to get it out, talk to your close friends and see what they think. But from what you posted sounds like its time to enjoy the single life again. I think your better than this come on you drive a G, lol.

Life is too short to be mad.

Your def the man for sticking around for so long. It seems like it not so much your wife, but the kids who are causing all of this. Honestly, if your family (i use family liberally since they are your step children) cant respect your property, how can you respect them, and at the same time how can they respect themselves?

Repeat offenders are usually sentenced more harshly

Agreed. Too short to be with one woman either.

I wonder if my success rate will go up now that I have a G?

BTW, are there no women on this forum? I'd enjoy hearing a females take on this...

I don't know what to say... Hoping you can your wife can work things out though.

I'm a firm believer in vows though.

They are under your roof. You make the rules. If they don't follow them, tell them to find somewhere else to live.

Well, if I didn't believe in romance, love and marraige I wouldn't have put up with this so long.

On the other hand where in God's name did I or anyone else ever include our G's in our vows????
Maybe next time (if there ever is one) I'll put a disclaimer about my car...

Hey this forum is good therapy, I'm losing some of my anger already..
