I am listed under my parents.. And they have been with State Farm about 25+ years. We have the Premium Coverage, for a very cheap price.

I also have a student discount for it also! Thats why its like "basic coverage" price
Many discounts also.

USAA FTW!
beware that company is dog$hit for claims...my friend was hit by someone insured with them, USAA refused to pay the diminished value for the accident and now he is having to file a small claims lawsuit against the guy that hit him.

I don't know anything about the situation with your friend, but every single experience I have had (and they are vast and varied, my family has been with them for 40+ years) has been AMAZING. They've taken care of me numerous times

As long as you have your stuff in order there shouldn't be any problems

Your friend was probably stupid. They are amazing with claims.

I totalled my highly modified G35 (my fault). They gave me 8k EXTRA on top of the blue book value of my car for all the mods that were done to it. I didnt pay any extra coverage or anything.

See, I just got insurance and initially, it was $4000 a year (WITH my moms 07 ML350 and my dads 09 G37x Sedan). Now its $6000 a year. Oh my God....almost $200/month increase. :-(

BTW, we're with Geico.
I'm looking at a 150/month increase on my parents insurance....Im going to give them the difference...so its looking around 4k per year for insurance...gonna start shopping around for something better

USAA is one of the best. Can't beat them in most cases for prices or customer service. I am paying $67.50 per month with excellent coverage in one of the worst markets for auto insurance in the country.

no need to get upset...Buddiee is probably right though, he probably didn't have all the information needed or filed something wrong or made a stupid mistake orwhatever.

and if he did everything right and still had a problem, great. not every company is perfect (even though USAA is pretty damn close )
