Black Roof on G37??
Amen brother, 2006 with a glass panoramic roof. I just found the picture. I love the back. I wish somebody would make this cover I think it gives the car more aerodynamic look and also looks better finished without the pipes being visible.
Why is it on the Concept cars, they always present them lowered and with
things you can't get on the production models... Like the wheels better too.
AND > If somebody has the contacts and ability to make that back bumper... I'M ALL IN BABY! THAT REALLY IS HOTT!!!
My roof is already black...

That mean looking concept is what I was expecting in the g37. The rear is smoother instead of the bulky fat one that was released. And if I can recall that version had a meaner looking shaped Front head lights. When The G37 came out not looking like that, it just appeard too bland for my taste so I lost alot of interest in the car. The new 2011 version though, does spice it up some though.

It all comes down to laws and liability though. If Nissan had made the G37 that low from the factory, all the old people and non-enthusiasts would be crying about speed bumps and the rough ride. Also, the bumpers of the concept don't have to meet U.S. safety regulations like the production versions do.
Its just another case of the government getting in the damn way...
Help!
When you guys painted the roof black did you guys have to remove the antenna? and/or the black liner separating the roof and the side of the car? If yes to the antenna was it just a pry-off or did you have to open up the interior roof?
I bought my Gloss Black Roof Vinyl Overlay yesterday. I plan on running it until I decide if its for me. If i like it I'm going to paint it.

I just had my roof repainted (long story) and they did not remove the antenea cover. Just make sure that the paint has fully dried before driving the car. I drove mine the next day and all the paint seemed dry but apparently it had a little bit of paint under the edge that had not dried and created a very small bubble which I just popped with a pin and looks fine now but I can still see a small spot when I look closely. My advice would be to remove the antenea and yes you have to remove the inside roof liner to do that.
