Search for Tanabe Medallion Touring or Tanabe exhaust. There should be a few videos on it. It's an axle back.

You can get just the muffler option of the Meisterschaft exhaust.

 

I have the Tanabe's... I prefer the dual exhaust set up unlike the Megans.


There's a Youtube video released by Tanabe USA and one from a member here that I know of.

There's also the Greddy tiC's of you like the more aggressive set up.

 

I had Tanabe Medallion Touring when it first came out for the coupe. Loved it. It's an awesome axle back option.

is there a lot of drone with the tanabes?

im thinking about getting them...how loud are they inside the cockpit?

 

^Tanabes have a reputation for having a nice deep tone while not being very loud. You won't get drone with these. Also, all their applications are rated under 93db

i had the megan and sounds great! I just sold for a full catback, but the megan was great. fitment was dead on. The sound was stock but just 1.5x louder.

I have the Tanabe setup, love it. I am almost tempted to sell it since I promised myself I'd keep it for about a year or so, but I can't quite let it go...yet haha. I actually miss the stock sound.

 

in my opinion axle backs are good. the tanabe setup sounds very nice. i think if you just have the right piping you don't need the full exhaust system. from cats down you have your res's. just attach the muffler. unless you want a true 3 inch system. which aam has i believe.
