Dead Battery Club

Yes is official I'm now a member of the DBC. After work today my 3 month old 2009 G37S nominated me to the dead battery club. Not even enough juice to open the door. Called roadside assistance and they came out and jumped it and then I took it to Tustin Infiniti where of course the battery checked out fine. They are keeping it overnight and according to the tech will most likely replace with a larger battery. At least I don't have the seat bubble so its not all bad.

They replaced mine with a larger capacity battery and I never had problems since.

You can get it changed under warranty for free. Mine battery hasn't died yet but when I took it to the dealership couple days ago they said there was a tsb out for my car and changed out the battery.

TSB is for 2008, not 2009. Will pick up later today and see what they say.

I have a 2008 we bought in September, haven't had any issues as the wife puts 65miles a day on it during the week. Since she drives it mostly, to avoid any issues I just bit the bullet and bought a Red Top for it .... still no issues and that baby snaps to life even in the coldest days.

It was the BCM aka "vent control valve" on my'08. Still sittn' at the dealer waiting on the parts which are on backorder. Battery dead 5 times within the last 2 months...most recently on the dealer lot while the service manager tried to start it this morning

I also took it there and they gave me the same load of crap [no replacement battery] and some sunshine treatment for the body.

Second time it happen, I had it towed flatbed there and the battery was replaced with the same size. If...(who are we kidding), when it happen again, they promised to put in a higher capacity battery.

WTF why are some people on back order for so long. It doesn't seem right. Mine got here the next day when I took mine to the dealer. Something doesn't sound right.
