G37s Or G37x

I really need to make a descion before I go buy my G37 next week. I dont know what to do when about g37s or g37x. I want all wheel drive but i dont want to restrict some of its power too. Also with the S i plan on doing heavy modding like turbo kits, exhast, intake, clutch flywheel, wastegate, cams and other crazy stuff i want to be able to grip pretty fast instead of spinning for a couple of gears... I was looking into a twin turbo kit for the g37. If i get that i want a car that will be able to handle all that power and not be all over the place not gripping... Thats why i think the g37x will be able to handle it but idk.. Let me know what you think i should do...

Thank You

JarrydG37S or X??

I don't plan on modding so my answer reflects that. For me it was more local weather based. Our winters usually have enough snow that the AWD is very helpful, my G37x is also my daily driver. Now if I lived in a place like LA or Las Vegas (or anywhere else where snow is considered almost impossible even in winter) then I may have looked more toward a G37s. Having said that, I don't exactly feel like my car is "wimpy" just because I got the G37x instead of the G37s either.

Hope that helps somehow, either way welcome and enjoy your new car when you take delivery.

If your gonna mod then get an S. there's way more mods for the S then the X. We have a few members on here with turbo's on there S so look in the FI section.

Custom fit a 6MT transmission to the X! lol. THAT would be badass.

Wow.. there's a lot more reading you have to do that's for sure haha

Either ways, welcome on board and UNLESS you want to drive in a lot of snow, I suggest getting an MT.

i don' condone any street racing... been there done that years ago and seen some bad outcomes, especially they can just take your car.

If you want to go for more performance, get a 6mt and i know a few other companies are coming out with some nice turbo kits.

If you're in FL you definitely won't need an X. And besides, once you go down the turbo road your transfer case will shatter like glass and will be very hard to beef up

Wouldn't it be easier and more cost effective to get something already turbocharged like a 335i than to do all of that to the G?
