Is 20,000 miles decent for a 2008 g37s?

 

Are you going to buy a used one? There are some members on here with 08's in the 50,000 mile range.

 

nah I ardy have one and mine ardy has 20,000 miles so I was just checking to see if that was good cuz im about to start modding it and didnt want it to be a waste. I dont like modding cars with a lot of miles cuz I feel like it would be a waste.

 

You should be ok modding it. I wouldn't start modding a car with 70k on it though.

20K isnt that many miles. When did you buy it? Mines an 08 that I got in nov 07 and i've got 19600 miles on it right now. Thats well below the yearly average for a car.

 

I got mine july 09 with 16000 miles on it and now its dec 09 and has 20000 on it so thats about 4k in 5 months.

 

as long as you are taking care of the care maintenance-wise then it could still be considered quite a young car with 20K miles

EDIT: I picked mine up June 09 with 18 miles on it and I'm sitting at ~9800 right now

 

I'm at 22.5K after 25 months. I only had 8K after the first year, but it became my daily driver earlier this year. Anyway, you should be fine to mod right now.

This a Jap car you could start modding at 75,000-100,000 and it would still run forever. If it was an american car where most of them start to give problems around 100,000 I would say no modding. Where it would be a waste is if you had plans on getting rid of it. Look at the average miles on a car in your city and that will tell you if you have alot of miles. In Houston the average miles per yer is 12,500-16,500. You should be fine on the mods.

 

Mine is an 08 with 49,200 on it...sucks working outta town.

 

i have one for sale w/ 50k miles... thats the highest i've seen so far.

 

lol... ive had my g since august 09 and i got 12k on the miles already X_X... i drive too much.
