Damn...that sucks man, I'm sorry to see this happen again. I'm gonna have to agree with Solisimo on this one -- NJ/NYC are just bad places to have anything nice

Sorry to hear it man!

I understand that these are stock rims with stock locks correct?
Get yourself the Rays Formula Lugs and it wont happen trust me. Mechanics hate them because each lug is a key and it will regardless how professional they are take at least 20 minutes wit a copied set off keys to get off. For the Thief to do so hell have to be able to buy the 4 different keys out there for the set. Each locking lug comes with a locking cap

PS: They sell for about $250 - $300 for full set for car. No one will take your rims if you get them. I'm willing to bet on this one!

Does anyone know what happens now? It's outside on blocks, gotta wait for the claims adjustor to come out which could be tomorrow or who knows? It's been reported, and now what? I was home all day hoping that the adjustor would come by. I'm worried that the blocks might give out or a gust of wind tips it over causing damage.

can you tell your dealership to let you borrow another set? or tell your insurance to let you get a rental car if you have no other way of transportation.

I've already got a rental and Geico called my Infiniti dealer for 4 temporary wheels just so it can get towed, but, infiniti says we have to buy them.

What I'm worried about is, the car is sitting on blocks. I don't want the blocks to give out or anything like that.

It doesn't matter if you live in a nice part or not. I'm certain you drive on the 95 or the 287. They will follow you and if the car is accessible they will come back.

There is a guy around my way with a 350z. It has GT-R rims on it. I hate to judge people but I doubt he bought those rims for full price. Most likely they are stolen. A new pair of those rims probably cost half what he spent on a used 350. Honestly, I would not surprised if someone steals it from him.

this is why when i enter the neighborhood where i live, i dont go straight to the house when someone is behind me...i dont trust no one out there.

if youre wonder about the blocks giving way, why dont you reinforce it with more blocks?

Yes true! But they will have to make a lot of noise doing so.

Like I said the Volk Formulas will keep them on. They would have to hammer all 20. By then on the second one I'd of shot the guy in the leg so he cant run I'll call the police after.

Hey I saw something shinny in his hand... I didn't know it was a hammer...thought it was a gun haha!
