Where are you located?
The dealer in TX over Edmunds said the coupe is in low stock due to the incentives.

I would like to know which dealer is willing to sell at lost with such low supply?
My wife's car was shipped across florida to the local dealership and we still got her coupe at $4500 below invoice.

Ivy Leagues grade based on a 5.0 GPA system, but most other colleges are based on a 4.0 system.

When there was $4500-$5000 incentives?

$10k under MSRP is like $6500 under invoice not counting the current $4500 incentives.

Congrats on the new ride, you're gonna love it.

I agree with kanariya, something doesn't sound right here. I don't think there's any way Infiniti would let go of this car for $6K below invoice. I think you have your numbers wrong. Perhaps you're comparing the OTD cost to the negotiated price before TTL?

Just messing, welcome on board and post pix when you get her
High school honors and AP classes. Damn, I wish my parents were that easily impressed back in the day.

yup, I'm talking 4,500 under invoice OTD before TTL on the coupe, 3500 on sedan. Since each state has different tax rates it's easier for folks to compare #'s that way.

If you follow the G37 prices paid thread on edmuds you'll see some people paying significantly less than that, but then they usually involve a trade-in and that's where the dealers make their money (i.e. give a good "new car" price and "hold" on trade-in value and make more money on the used lot).

You should still be able to get invoice-rebates OTD before TTL without a trade-in. Infiniti has had rebates for a while now, in October you could actually get $5K in incentives on coupe. Dealers have done this for years, and in this craptastic economy the rebates are even better.

$4,500 under invoice equates to about $7,500 under MSRP, right? I'm still flabbergasted that he managed to get another $3K off on top of that (if my calculations are correct). Regardless, hot deal if you pulled it off, I think that's the best price I've heard of yet.

Not that I'm hating on the OP...(well okay, maybe just a little bit for getting such a slick deal)

I'm not trying to pick on his deal.

Just want to make sure it's not misleading because some people come to these forums to research the purchase prices.

I've been following Edmunds' thread but haven't heard anything like invoice - incentives - $2000 yet.

I think the car is used. In High School and getting a car like this that says crazy parents. I knew a guy that was in his senior year and parents bought him a G35 and he wrecked and pasted away. They say he was going 120mph. Welcome to the Forum BESAFE.

The best offer I saw on that forum was 1,100 under invoice-incentives, but I know for a fact that it involved a late model trade in. Not sure if the buyer ever pulled the trigger.

Well I'm new to all this stuff so i dont get all the acronyms. But, I went through cars direct and then the dealer emailed me. I asked what was the best price I could get and right off the bat he sent this:
MSRP you are looking at is $45,460. INVOICE is $41,558

I can take $9,000 off the MSRP of you!

This is a very aggressive deal for you, I would love to earn your business.

Thanks

I mean it was low already then I just haggled a bit more when I went to the dealer. Told him my parents were leaning toward a cheaper IS 250 anyway and that the only reason my parents even considered it was because I told them that I could get a good deal.
So I settled with 1500 more off.

I will def be safe and this car has cost me 4 years worth of college level classes while in
High School. I regularly study 3-4 hours a night and also have a job working 8 hours a
day on the weekends.

I'm really thankful for getting an awesome price and I think that a lot of the SOCAL dealers have their own monthly incentives and quotas so even though they probably
took a hit on the car, they still end up making bonuses for getting rid of the 09's.
On top of that, I didn't make a special order or anything. The car exactly what I wanted so they were happy to get rid of the old merchandise
