When is the delivery date? February? Did they have all the pics, specs and pricing? I tested a g37X last week and will be going back this week when I have all the specific info.

Did you consider the X or just want a sports car? Will you drive it in winter or store it?

Congrats on the new toy!

He answered "No it is 2010"
I was like no way.

I was speaking to a dealer and they were saying I can put a payment for a 2010, but delivery will be in late Jan.
Same thing for you?

I was at Fields Infiniti the other day and they told me they will have the 010 models in 2~3 months. Pretty much the rest of their lineup is already 2010's

That sounds pretty fast. Salesman told me that if I made a decision by mid Dec., I would get a Feb. build date and delivery in March. Maybe he is just leaving room for problems? I would assume 12 weeks from order to my driveway.

Sounds like the guy you were talking to got "scammed" by the salesman. I know a few people, "females", that this has happened to. They were car retards though so they took the salesman's word for it.

Friend: "Is this the new model?"
Sales: "Oh yeah, it's the (insert year), just came out"
Friend: "It looks different than the ones on TV"
Sales: "That's because it has a different Trim Package, but it's still the new model"
Friend: "Oh, ok"

She, along with the others I know, now ask for help when it comes to cars. She's still an idiot, but she's hot , LOL

I ordered it from Hyatt Infiniti in Calgary. Pricing is to be determined since they don't actually have the prices yet, should in a couple of weeks. I did test drive the X and liked it allot but my heart has alwasy been set on the Sport. Winters will suck but people have been driving RWD in the winter forever so its not like anything has changed. Just put on winter tires and your good to go, besides if its really bad outside drive the other car. For the most part it will probably be stored until I can't take it anymore. haha we'll see.

Delivery date is Late Feb. by the sounds of things. Paperwork isn't official until they receive the pricing from Infiniti and I agree on it. They expect the price to go up around $500. Pics should be out on Wed. i believe. He did however have the ordering guide which showed the changes to the car.

Everything that was posted on the forum from the Nissan site about the 2010 changes are true except for the new exterior color. The colors changed slightly but its so minor. Originally people were talking we were receiving the dark red that the convertible has.

The self healing paint was removed because it was too expensive to put on cars. They went back to the paint used in 2008 because they can't charge more money for the self healing paint and were taking a loss on it. I decided to go with Athens Blue over the black obsidian because of the paint change. Athens blue is quite unique looking though and reminds me of when the G first came out in 2003.

I am disappointed in the fact that the accessories you want ordered like splash guards etc. are installed from the dealership rather than factory. I will have to pay the dealership the shop rate for install so I'll end up just doing it myself.
