New Here, Wanted to say Hi

Hello All,

Bought a G37 Coupe last week after dreaming about it since the G35 came out. Love the car and looking forward to being a member here!

No Mods off the bat .... I'm 51 and the wife 50 ...just finally unloaded the Van as the kids have their own cars. This car to us kicks butt as stock after driving a van for 11 years and an Xterra for 9 years. Just planning on doing a few cosmetic additions. I like the Illuminated Sill plates and maybe get the factory Infiniti logo license plates (I know, I'm boring). It's used, a 2008 Journey Coupe, Slate Blue and I need to get a few things fixed (minor parts) and we need to adjust to having a car payment after years of none for a while.

Welcome. Trust me that age has nothing to do with wanting to mod.....when the mod bug bites it is not age-aware. My first mod was license plate and some LED bulbs. Enjoy.

Haha .... 51 but I'm in good shape, play soccer. Now being 6'3" and 235 makes for it's own challenges.

That's where it all started with me too.
I've never modded a car in the past and was fine rolling stock in the G until I found my way to the forums, read a few cool threads and then there was no looking back.
Modding is more addictive than drugs.

Of course people mod at any age, but for the most part IMO modding is still a youngster thing. Right around the age of 50 the need to do this sort of thing decreases, so when you reach my age (72) it seems frivolous.

In other words, driving a beautifully designed car with 330hp, that can go from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, that has a top speed of 155mph ought to be enough for the mature driver.

I think you have the mature part confused with the senior citizen part

When I got to Denny's with my grandmother she gets a senior citizen discount not a mature discount

Yes you can shuffle it. You don't need to put the ipod into shuffle mode. There is a button that say SCAN/RPT next to the Volume button. Just press it until its in the mode that you want ( track shuffles, repeat, track repeat, etc..)
