Well if you have an actual reoccuring problem with your car call your states Better Business Bureau. Check out the states lemon law rules, since they vary from state to state.

Mine was supposedly a CEL due to a loose gas cap, at least that was Infiniti's arguement.

In the end, it's all the same to me, they're all toasters on wheels and I'm not a fan. Only plus, they sure are roomy on the inside.

I assuming it wasn't either an option for them or you, but couldn't they just have given you a new G? Isn't this an option with the lemon law?

Yeah, you have a number of things you can request, Repurchase, Replacement, then you can get payments back, paid services refunded. But usually you'll have to have a very dangerous car to be awarded an entire repurchase and refund of all money put into the vehicle.

In my arbitrators note he specifically stated that usually he doesn't grant repurchase, but I was giving a resonable offer and that is the only reason he granted the repurchase. I was just refunded my down payment, and they repurchased the vehicle. If I would have asked for more, I might not have won.

sorry you had to deal with it and had a bad experience owning what should be a stress free, luxury car. Glad it all worked out in the end though.

file a claim stating you had your bumper painted 9 times and it STILL doesn't match.

This isn't the first G I've heard of being lemoned. Better luck with your next ride.

Wow, G to xB.

Why not get a A4 or something as commuter car?

Sorry to hear about that Graham. Sadly, I wish something that fortunate would happen to me so I can get a 6MT G37. However, I haven't had the CEL light come on even once even though I race A LOT!
