About to buy G37 have 2 questions help plz :)
Hi guys I use to have a 06 G35 sedan. I loved that car it was great in every way. Crashed it now I'm in the market to get a 09 G37 I can't deside between the coupe or sedan. I know that the sedan is faster, the coupe sounds better, sedan has more room, coupe more sexy ... ok here is my question I am leaning twards 6mt trany
, I would like to know what made you pick the car u pick coupe/sedan and y? And im sorry if this is off topic but what is a ground control kit? I see people getting them and IDK what they are.
Thanks a lot Mike.

That has to be the most useless post I've seen on here. If you don't like your car, go get a BMW and get off of this forum. There are a thousand times more people on here who love the G series. SO.....STFU.
To the original post, I suggest you get what you like, but also what's PRACTICAL. Do you have a family? Well, unless your kids are circus midgets, then you likely won't be taking many road trips in the Coupe. The sedan would be much better suited. The sedan is MINIMALLY faster than the coupe. In everyday driving, you WILL NOT NOTICE it. The Coupe IS much sexier in my opinion, but the sedan isn't shabby at all.
A lot of what you should base your decision on is your everyday use for the car. The coupe is not a car for more than 2 people or the car you wanna take to the grocery store or Sam's/Costco (smallllllllll trunk). If these are more your needs, the sedan all the way.
If you want a fast, sexy, FUN ride, don't need cargo space and don't carry around more than 1-2 extra people, then by all means, the coupe is for you.
As far as grounding kits are concerned, all they are are a set of wires you connect to various points on/around the engine which helps limit electrical interference to different electronics in your car. Many note improved shift times (with an automatic), louder stereo, brighter interior lights.
Hope this post helps unlike the d-bag above who told you to get something else.

If you're single, no kids and don't need the extra 2 seats. Get the coupe!
Picked up my coupe because I never even thought of getting the sedan. The coupe is more sportier and sexier. period!

There was never any choice, I'm allergic to sedans.. have a doctors note warning that owning really ugly cars may lead to sever depression, uncontrollable vomiting and diarrhea.
I mean really they are night and day different other then sharing the same interior. If I had to buy a sedan it would be an Audi or a BMW and I'd probably still have the sheits at least.

I had a coupe and regret not getting the sedan. Stock for stock the coupe does indeed look alot better than the sedan, but you know what? do your research, a sedan looks very freekin hot once its lowered, 20s and the oem front lip with the midnight grille and tinted. theres a pict of it on ebay, punch in G37 grille, you should be able to see it, its a white one. I drool over that car. Had I saw that pict before buying my coupe, I would have picked up the sedan, no and ifs or buts. I traded in my coupe last month cause of the ultra tiny trunk in it. I couldnt fit a baby stroller in the car. didnt do a G sedan though, I got a very very good deal on a Lexus IsF
Get what you want and makes you happy. I doesn't matter what we think. Having said that I have the coupe and love it. I don't do sedans
BTW, the G is the only car we own that has a back seat
The other cars we own are a Corvette, an S2000, and a pick up truck

The sedan is faster than the coupe? I thought they put down the same 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.....I bought the coupe because I didnt like the looks of the sedan. I didnt need a full time backseat. If I had kids and needed a full time back seat, then thats another story.

GTR 0 - 60 = 3.7 seconds @ $80K
370 0 - 60 = 4.9 seconds @ $30k
G37S Sedan 0 - 60 = 5.2 seconds @ $35K
G37S Coupe 0 - 60 = 5.5 seconds @ $40K
Cobalt SS 0 to 50 = 5.5 seconds... @ $12 dollars...
uhm, just to prove basing your purchase decision on 0 - 60 times are for ignorant people.
Cadillac finally asked the right question, "when you turn your car on, does it return the favour?" Both the Sedan and Coupe will...
