Car started leaking today?
Got home this afternoon and noticed a leak comming from the front passenger side of my car. I looked under it and see what appears to be water comming from a jagged area of some type of material. It looks like insulation or bondo. I'm not too technical. Any ideas on the leak and do all G's have this material under them. The driver side has the material but it's not jagged. Here are links to pictures. Had some trouble getting them to post. I bought the car used and I hope it doesn't mean it has been previously wrecked.

I've caught my car pissing like a race horse from the right front passenger side after turning off and having run the A/C. I figured it was normal A/C discharge and I believe other owners have reported this as well. Never noticed the material in the photo's though.
Your car hasn't been in a wreck. It is very likely just condensate dripping from your AC compressor which is 100% normal. Drive your car for about 10 minutes with the climate control completely off. Park in your driveway with engine running and check for the leak. If it's not leaking it was probably just the AC. Check by turning on the AC full blast and driving for another 5 minutes and parking again. If it's dripping now, it's the AC and don't worry about it.
Every fluid in a car has a certain color and smell (and taste!). Catch some of the drip in a dish or cup. Then you can examine, smell, or taste (not drink!) it to see what it is.

Thanks I'll try that now. The liquid seems to be consistant with water. The only reason I was/am concerned is the ammount that is was leaking (large puddles). Also any idea what that material is on the bottem of my car? Sound proofing? Again, I appricated the reply.
If it's warm and unusually humid you can expect a LOT of water on your floor. If it evaporates overnight then it is water. No foul.
Not sure what that goopy spray-on insulation is however as I never really looked up under there; and you got some wild photographic effects happening that are distorting things
