Woken up by the cops.. you allready know where this is headed..

Its great to be waken up by the cops at 4am and to go outside still half asleep and see your car on cinder blocks.. they actually caught the guys who were doing a few cars in the neighborhood.. they recovered all 4 wheels and lug nuts.. please dont ask for pics im not in the mood to upload any, and we all know what the car looks like in this state.

Its bittersweet...I would have loved to receive a $5000 check and go aftermarket, but at the same time it's great to know that they actually caught these people. The cops said they were also doing the 350z a block over and thats when they caught them. I guess the z's and G's in my zip code can rest easy for a few nights!

Statuas update:

Few hours later and the wheels are back on the G and I couldn't be more satisfied with Infiniti Roadside assistance. Thank you so much to the Roadside guy and the police officers.. It was a bad wake up, but I am happy they got the group of people stealing my neighbor's and my wheels tonight!

I'm glad my G is in a garage protected by 2 alarms with 4 legs, one of which is over 80lbs with big teeth and the other makes a lot of noise when someone approaches the yard alerting the operator of a Colt 1911 and M16A3 :P

Why are they after our rims so much? They're decent stock rims just like ones on a lot of other cars......What makes these stand out from any other factory rim, ya know?

$1,000 a piece. Street value about $1,500+ For a set.

Plus they are pretty universal. I've seen them on Altima Coupes, 240s, and even Lexus.

Edit: Plus some people are a waste of human flesh

Yeah, but there are other factory rims that have the same value. I just don't get why they target our specific rim. There are plenty of other cars to rip off with stock rims of equal value. God help the person that tries to rip mine off, they'll end up with lead in their ***
