So 800 miles in and there's some creaking sound coming from the driver side. It happens when I go up and down different level roads like the bottom of my driveway. I showed it to my boy's brother who worked at Acura a few weeks ago before layoffs but he said that it could've happened when they took the car off the flatbed, something about a semi-twisted chassis?
I'm truly not worried but I will not rest until this sound is eliminated...
do you rest your arm on the window sil while driving? if so mine creeks on my car.. try pushing the material down and see if yours creeks as well..(the part im talking about is where the door lock pin would be on an older car)
I have this creaking also... but I heard someone took it in and got the welding or something reinforced? but the creaking came back... I don't know if they have a REAL fix for it yet.
Anyone perform the chassis reinforcements and see this go away? Just curious if adding the tower brace and some combination of the available subframe connectors had made the car more rigid.
Funny thing is that I didn't have this in my G35 coupe. Hopefully, service advisors know about this making it much easier to state it rather than explaining it...
holy **** this is so weird. I heard the creaking in a garage a few weeks ago...thought nothing of it...heard it again this morning and listened with windows down. It was starting to worry me and I thought it was from the eibachs...maybe they aren't supporting the weight of the car or are in wrong... man I'm glad this thread came up today.
