like i said i've always parked in the streets or a bigger garage so i hear less which i thought/know is normal, but yesterdya i parked in a very tiny garage that barely fits my car and the noise was rather louder than normal and i was just wondering if it was normal or not.

Dumbest question I've ever asked. When I was going to school at East Carolina, we had a parking lot where freshman parked their cars which was a couple miles away from main campus. I usually catch the bus back to campus, but it was a holiday and the bus wasn't running so a friend followed me there to give me a ride back. This chic was waiting for the bus (I guess she didn't get the memo). We told her the bus wasn't running today and offered her a ride. She agreed and said she just parked her car and had been waiting for 10-15 minutes and was beginning to wonder. Being the smoooov dumbass I am, I asked, "so, are you a freshman?"
That's like asking "What color is your red car?"
