I am at 20 months of ownership and 12,000 miles. Unfortunately my G barely gets driven. However did do a toll road run one night at 155mph for about 10 seconds... that was scarey as hell....

 

Have done 25,000 k's in 4 months - drive 260 k's a day roundtrip to work 50% OF which is 160-180 k's an hour with no problem. I actually think the beast has improved since i got her - it almost feels like the car is starting to understand my driving style.

I redline quite a bit but no noticeable degradation in performance.

i just drive just to drive 14k and this car runs like new. i dont know about anyone else but i had a lot of fun in the snow with this car lol besides geting stuck one time.

hmm my g ride seems to top out at 156

drove in my first snow storm back in december. sucked major butt, my rear was kicking out in first gear. i was sliding sideways and **** on the interstate, scary stuff.

 

Just hit 15K on mine. I drive with VDC off for the most part in and around the steep SF hills. I only use 6th gear when I plan on sleeping. 1st set of tires almost done. Rock-solid as ever!!

 

17k 1 year. Its been hit twice on the driver side front fender. Other than that, no rattles, drives like new. Just not as stiff as it used to be when it was new... as all cars are any ways.

 

its been 6 months and I have 5k miles. I love it!

 

I have 38,000 Km on it - bought in Nov. 08' have driven it pretty hard all the way through, and the engine is still running strong. Tranny is a different story, but in my opinion it was junk when i got it.

 

Sooo, just a lil update. I currently have about 10,300 miles on my 09 6mt Sedan and it's holding up just like I figured from very aggressive driving. No oil consumption, no valvetrain noise (Running Mobil one Synthetic,changing myself every 5k), and it feels as if the motor is opening up a little bit. I probably redline the car anywhere from 2 to 10 times a day, and I full throttle it everytime I'm in the car.

 

I also think that this thread should be updated. 10k miles here and the car has been driven aggressively on occasion. Car is running great

 

hrmm a little less then 2years i got 31k driven aggressively daily or every other day, also been to the 1/4 where i ran a 13.7 at 100.7

 

The G is a blast in the snow (with SNOW tires on it). We are supposed to get 8-14" of snow by tomorrow night- I can't wait to get out and take the G for a ride in the snow.


Back on topic... I'm at 20K after owning the car for 2 years. I have had zero engine problems and no oil consumption problems. I am however using Ester oil because of the knocking. Other than that, all is good.

 

42K miles in 2 years. Drive semi-aggressive. Went through 1 transmission, working on my second.

No other problems other than that and the usual TSB's.
