Sometimes batteries just go bad. I used to work in the Auto Dept of Sears and Walmart and you'd be surprised how many "newer" batteries have to get warrantied out.

I've had mine for about a year and a half. It's left me stranded about 10 times, sometimes it starts after a couple of minutes of alone time, but the majority of the time I have to get the jumper cables. This is one of the most embarrassing moments one can have!!! We spend all that $$ to get the best but we still get these dull moments!

Well I spoke too soon. Car wouldn't start twice this week and had to get it jumped off. 31,200 miles until my first probably with it. I do not understand why the dealership is still pro rating my battery and charging my 45.00 for a new one!!

Still alive

I waited 24 days since the last time I started my G37x, it works.

I charged the battery up after running the engine for 20 minutes.

The next time I start the engine will be after X'mas.

Like clock work I have made it close to 3 years with 2 factory batteries. The first one was replaced at 36 months, and the 2nd one just took a crap last week at around 34 months. In each case Infiniti prorated the batteries. The first replacement cost me $42 and the second one only $25. I figure that $67 for over 6 years of service is not bad for the cost of batteries for my car. However, it is quite common for our batteries to drop dead within 3 years in the Hot Florida Temps. By the way, I have 37,000 miles on the odo.

Now that I've read this thread, I'm sure my battery will die, but I have had no issues whatsoever with it for 2 years, 21k miles.
