Need color opinions quick!
Didn't have a great deal of colour choice and had to pick between red, black, white and silver. Don't forget it's dust city here.
Red = trying too hard
White = did you actually choose a colour?
Black = agree with above and dust and the fact that every man and his camel has a black car ruled it out
Silver = not my favoutite to start with but gotta say it some light it looks completely f'ing sexy. Infiniti tend to use this colour as the lead for the car BUT still not totally convinced. Still reckon the dark grey would have been my choice,,, BUF (again) starting tp love the silver. Add a coat of DiamondBrite to make it like a mirro and I'll probably be a v. happy man... don't have foto of mine to upload BUT - c'mon - it looks pretty damn good - http://home.comcast.net/~jason_edmonds/g37r55-10.jpg

Grind back the paint of whatevcer colour you get and buff the bare metal - will reduce the weight of the car = go faster and will be unqiue as well. I best exit the thread now.
P.S. If I get hit by a red or white G37 I know where to send the cops!
People who say it's harder to keep black than white clean don't know much. I've owned both and both are super hard to keep clean. Black will show dust easily and swirl marks. White also shows dirt easliy and have in addition these annoying little rust like dots all over that shows with time that requires claying. So base your choice on what you like, not how easy or hard it is to keep clean. My opinion? Take either, I don't think you'll have any regrets cause the car look damn good in both colour.
Update
Just came back from the dealer today. Saw the MW coupe and wow looks really really nice, almost pulled the trigger but I resisted. The BO coupe is comming in next week. Hope the BO will give me the same wow factor that the MW coupe did. The dealer said he will park the cars side by side next week for me so I can make my final decision. I'll let you guys know my decision next week. Thanks for all the input, been waiting so long to get this car can't wait till its my turn to
.
BTW: When the car is ordered is it manufactured in Japan and sent directley to the dealer or is there a middle man in the U.S. that builds part of the vehicle? Always curious if the car is 100% japanese made. Thanks.

Buy White! I have Black.. The best colors are black or white! Originally I was going to buy white but I decided to go with black because I already drove two white cars in a row. I love the Black.. people call my car the bat mobile.. however, keeping it clean.. dealing with swirls just aint worth it.. But white is just sexy.. looks great at night.. But if you don't really care about things like that then go with Black.. its masculine and aggressive and people dont mess with you one the road..
I am, like many potential buyers on this forum who is torn between BO and MW. Setting everything equal and taking out the negatives of each color (black being hard to clean etc.) which color looks best on the G? I could be sitting in a new 09 MW coupe this week or wait 2 weeks for a BO with the same options. If anyone can share their input of what color car they think looks better and why would really help because im 50/50 right now.
Many of you complain about seeing the same 2 colors on the road but to be honest in my area I have yet to see these cars except for maybe 2 or 3 times. I've seen hundreds of pictures and have been to the dealer several times but it is hard to judge a car's color while it's sitting in a parking lot or in a photo. The real test is seeing the car while driving on the road and in differnt lights and time of day. Mind you that I will be keeping the car completely stock except maybe tinting the windows at most and both cars will have the same options (sport, prem, nav, splashguards, graph interior). Thanks for your input and help.

I've been driving a white car for the last 10 years that's why I am so 50/50 between black and white. With the scratch shield paint maybe it's time for a change? Hopefully that will help with some of the swirls that plague BO owners but I haven't heard many people comment on whether or not the new self-healing paint works or not. Hopefully we will hear some comments soon. Either way I agree both colors look great.

Then get black and change it up! Like I said in an earlier post.
"Every man should own a black car at least once in their life time"
I have a PG - but with that said - i was never a fan of white - but... if you are gonna do the whole contrast look thingie - (white car, dark tint, black wheels, blackout grill, overlays for the lights...) then I say white looks sexy as hell. Someone here as pics of their car like that..
I think my g40 will be a white one

I hear you with driving a white car for 10 years.. I drove one for 7 years and another for about 2... but it all boils down to if you are ready to deal with the evils of black... just so you get an idea.. as soon as you wash your car.. all it takes is a five minutes drive to get home for it to get dirty.. with water marks and stuff.... its really frustrating.. but with the white you are good to go..regardless.. that self healing paint is a crock of ****! doesn't help one bit with the swirls... Im learning to embrace it cause I dont have the time to do what is necessary to avoid them.. cause they will always come back eventually..
as for black looking beautiful when its clean is true.. however white if done right is sick..... especially at night... My next car 2013 BMW M3 will be white.. with red interior..

Blah de blah de blah
White black lavendar - man just make a choice and stick to it. I had choice of silver or black - it's Dubai - not many choices really. Black is everywhere here - ordered the black, drove back to work and saw how over rated it was on the road - no comparison to US but,,,,
Went Silver (Liquid Platinum?) and added DiamondBrite - makes the car look so reflective that every time I see it go weak.
Silver..... and I wanted gun metal grey pssshhhh!
I DO yak a lot huh?
I may need to implement the STFU feature at SOME stage..
