motortrend said it is the "most capable" of all the g37's, even with its shortcomings(brakes, softer suspension, etc)

Sound like a good plan, I just don't know the availability on some of the parts as the X models haven't been out long.

capable = better in snow maybe. too much added weight for not enough traction benefits to me.

your first mod or should I say first purchase should be a PC and some good washing and polishing supplies - or a healthy dose of cash to keep it clean and scratch free. Black is truly a double edged sword.

Otherwise I'd go with suspension bits first. Biggest bang for you buck that you can use everyday.

OMG why would they not make a manual model? wtf

my plan is to pay off my student loans, then in a year or two tops, grab up an Awd, they better have a manual option by then!

First mod: Icicle on the driver's side. Totally helps with aerodynamics and really gives the car a nice touch that Vin Diesel and Paul Walker should be jealous of!

In all seriousness, congrats on the new G...keep it out of the snow and for the love of all things holy keep that black looking fresh.
