My 3rd, 4th, 5th, through 9th mods!

Here are pictures of what we have been working on this week.

My 3rd mod...

These plastic things just fell off. I didn't think I was driving that fast, but you know how girls drive.

Getting cleaner and smoother. Doesn't look too great in the picture because of how close the picture was taken. It was snowing outside so no real decent pictures.

4th mod

K&N air filters, had to start somewhere.

So easy, even a girl can do it.

5th mod
Water Wetter - Some may argue, but my boyfriend swears by it.

6th mod
Locking lug nuts - well, it didn't have them before.

7th mod

Stock. My boyfriend wanted to see under the trunk liner.

While we had it open, we added a little sound dampening to the trunk.

8th mod

This was put on for a test fit and adjustments were made, then it was pulled off and thrown in the powder coating pile. He worked on the fit and lowered the engine cover a little.

9th and last mod for now.

Interior lighting kit.

Bad picture, but now I can see my feet at night.

No subs (yet). The sound dampening is from my boyfriend, he has a bunch of stuff in the basement.

The lighting kit my boyfriend got me for Christmas. He said there was a kit on ebay for $40 but thinks he's going to make some custom lighting next. He pulled the dash parts apart and I helped. He didn't cuss much so it must have went well.

nope.. but i'm guessing their trunk is multi purpose if you know what i mean don't want to disturb the passangers sitting up front haha

For sound dampening I like to use RaamMat BXT and Ensolite. I have a lot of BXT left over from other projects but no Ensolite (I'll be ordering more next week). You don't need subs or a big sound system for an excuse to sound dampen a car. Or at least I don't.

Water Wetter is an additive for the coolant system.

The ambient light kit is way over priced from the dealers (but that's been said many times). Not hard to install if you know how to pull the lower half of the dash apart. I know how now.

I did a little work on the fasteners and grommets for the engine cover. This gave a couple mm more clearance between the strut bar and the engine cover.

I used modeling clay to check the clearances for different bar heights.

Nice, when I saw the first pic I thought it was going to be a silver car and that was a close up of how you re-badged the trunk lol.

Have you seen the size of these trunks? I need a little more room to throw her around if you know what I mean.
