Demographic. Z's have a very rich history in America. How do you think they were able to pull off that rally. The concentration has really been on the GTR. with the 370z and the G37 there is now an almost 10k price diff. parts will come flooding for the G sooner then you think.

The G is more luxury and i guess people don't really mod up luxury cars as much as sports cars. I hope we get more variety of parts though, kind of a bummer.

The G35 has a wide variety of stuff, hopefully it'll be the same for us.

the Z is more of a sports car than the G, the G is sports luxury... of course they're gonna target a different demographic when making aftermarket parts...

I'm more concerned with turbo kits and internals being developed for our engines. Since the 370z has the same exact engine, we'll share dual developement paths between both models. I could care less about cosmetics so don't really care about the body kits and such.

remember it took a year or 2 before major parts started being developed for the g35 so the g37 is technically ahead of the game.

its more about fitment ... i went through it being the first turbonetics 2006 G sedan in the country and vinny ten had to do a lot of r&d to get the ECU working sicne reflashes don't work on the 2006 year 6mt 4drs. it's nice to see some parts will work on the Z and also be compatible on the G37's.

More parts for the Z = more parts for the G! Don't look at it as a bad thing.

Most Z performance pieces will have a relatively easy time going over to a G. Remember that for every modded G you see, there will be a handful of Zs modded.

I agree. Sounds like you know the Z community pretty well. I have a Z car (90' 300ZX) and I'm on a few Z forums. What I've learned is that they are really close knit bunch and have a huge following to support the aftermarket parts. I think the G parts will come too, just a bit behind in time compared to the Z parts.
