How long for OB G37 to get dirty?

I currently have a black car and it seems to get incredibly dusty/dirty about a week after a car wash. Plus its already has tons of swirls. I was wondering if this is about the same with the new G since it has premium paint (including scratch shield on the '09)? I was trying to choose between this and Liquid Platinum. I think the black looks better on this car, however I don't want the maintenance and hotness (socal weather) of a black car

Thanks

EEEEVERY week my man, it's a hassle, but it looks DAMN good when it's clean. It's the classiest, sexiest, and most attention-demanding color :-)

Shum, that's b/c the cars never survive with you, so you get the same exact car to pretend nothing happened

yep, right after the wash it gets dirty again. Infact, it may even get specks of dust before i am even done. i for one do not care though, because if the sun isnt shining on its imperfections, this color RULES.

The way I see it, during the summer, a white car and a black car are both going to be hot so get the better color.

As for keeping it clean, I'm usually unhappy with how the car looks after a day or two of driving, but most people aren't as critical. So while you'll see the fine layer of dust or a random oily smudge everybody else will still be drooling over your car!

Black definitely looks awesome when it's clean and shiny! I personally wouldn't get a Black car unless I have the time and the equipment to wash it every single day and get it detailed at least once a month!

I wash my LP every other weekend (takes about 4 hours) but still it shows a lot of dust after a week! Did you guys notice the paint on this car gets scratched if air comes in contact with it????!!! lol

4 hours! Yikes. And I thought I was thorough with my car. I guess its all about a guy bonding with his car. Sort of a labor of love.
