Getting G37X coupe but want it to look like S model

Well I live in Canada in Montreal with horrible icy snowy winters.
I have always lusted after the G but resigned myself to not getting it unless an AWD model came out.

Well it did! But infiniti has decided to not let us add a sport package, at least on this years model. NOw I am ok without sport seats suspension or aluminum paddles but I prefer the exterior look of the sport.

I have been researchign ways to sportify the x model and this is what I have learned:

1) I can find the 19 inch sport wheels ordered individually ( must since it appears staggered is a nono for the AWD models sedan or coupe). Price bout 2$ grand

2)Can get aftermarket sport spoiler to look like the sport model
Less than 200$

3)Here is the Question: I see places that sell genuine infiniti parts and can order the bumper cover for the sport. It alone is about 300$ but there a bundle of other assembly parts that I am not sure I would need all of them or if they are interchangeable with the non sport

here is a link:

http://www.infinitipartsonline.com/p...layCatalogid=0

Anybody look into this? is it worth it?
Potentially would cost me bout 3000$ to get my non port AWD coupe Sportified

if you're spending that much on wheels, why not go aftermarket? bumper and spoiler should be easy to get.

I didn't realize the spoiler had anything to do with the sports package.

Just use the link you posted and look at the individual components. For example this shows 2 different parts for sport vs non-sport.
I think the sport model also has different side sills.

Yeah, it's the nice calipers that I really noticed missing on the G37x.

perhaps but I was informed that the rims were staggered on the sport but that they may not function properly on the AWD because the staggered wheels not being the same can affect teh ATTESA-AWD programming.
Gonna call infiniti to confirm

I'm in the same boat as you. I think I'll go for the Sport version if I end up buying the car. My reasoning is that you get more with the Sport while supposedly msrp will be more expensive on the X. That's Infiniti's way to screw us who really needs AWD in our snowy conditions.

Oh and about the staggered set up on AWD car. I used to own a Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo (AWD) and people were putting staggered set up on their cars all the time. It is not recommended but it's not that big of a deal either.

No question the sport package is great value. But having had an Audi for last 7 years I won't give up AWD for our winters.

I am telling you the rwd is fine in the winter with good tires and a little common sense. The awd will be better but not worth the trade off for not getting the sport in my opinion.
Still will be a great car either way don't get me wrong. The X looks nice and will still be a sporty car.

Of course, AWD costs more. The manufacurer has to include the entire all wheel drive drivetrain and assembly. Please show me any AWD vehicle which has the same price as the RWD version.

That's Infiniti's way to screw us who really needs AWD in our snowy conditions.
How is charging you more for giving you more screwing you? Do you really think or believe an AWD car should cost the same as the RWD version?
