I realize this, but there is just no tell tell signs of a repaint. Understand that the different shades only seem to be on the drivers side "A" pillar and the gas cap -technically those could be shot independantly without feathering the paint and taping off the door jambs and such. But these pieces are on differnent sides of car . I'm trying to figure a scenario that would have the car in an accident that would have these two pieces needing repaint. The major body panels are all exactly the same. I'm trying to get a pic now, I'll post it up as soon as I have it.

ok, got some shots.

The first shot, for some reason, is far more exagerated than the pic would lead you to believe. The second shot shows the difference the way it really looks when you standing there looking at it.

No, I just finished polishing the car because the dealer scratched it so bad it looked like they used a wire brush on it.

As for asking them to repaint, I guess I could but it's a used a car, albeit used with only 1800 miles on it. I imagine them giving me some sort of excuse from that.

If you were to see that same shot in person it's much closer the second picture than the first.

it only has 1800 miles, thats really not alot.

most OB ppl that replied in here except shumby have no problems with the colour and we got wayyy more miles/Km's on it.

1800 miles used car is not a good excuse at all
