Just drove a 09 7AT Sport

I loved it... I cant wait for the rates to drop and VPP to kick in so I can get one. I am still debating on color though. In person the PG looks brown in the sunlight. The AG looked best in person to me. I wish they had a nice dark grey...

Do they still have Blue Slate? Blue Slate is basically dark gray; the sun has to be perfect in order for the blue to come out.

all they had was a OB, PG and LP. Blue slate is still an option and Blue Slate is what I think im gonna go with. I think it will look nice with gunmetal or black rims. I drove the 5AT like a year ago but the 7AT just felt better. The car really smelled when I was done with it but it just felt faster then the 5AT. I rember looking down though and seeing the car in like 5th gear when we were going like 40mph. I cant wait to get mine... Oh yeah we checked out an ISF as well and the seats in that car are insane. I wish infiniti used that kind of leather...

I would still like to know how much better and why the 7at is.
Also you are comparing a 60K Lexus to a 35k Infiniti.

PG has the beige in it, while AG has purple, grey, silver.

I also wish they have the metallic dark grey like the Evo grey or the Lexus gray.

I have an AG, it's probably one of the least popular color in this forum.

correct me if i am wrong but only difference with 7at and 5at is saving gas because you wont be driving 70mph/ 3000rpm with 7at.
Also smoother shifting gears.

Its always sunny here in socal the PG turns brown and looks hella plain. It looks good in the shade and the dark

Absolutely agree about the dark grey. Why don't they want to add it to their colors?
By the way does the 2009 have some new/modified colors or all remain the same?

??? Blue Slate obviously has a lower saturation than a normal blue, but the blue is very obvious, it's more blue than it is gray.

I don't really pay any attention to auto trannies so I'm really not sure, but I would guess that they didn't just tack on two extra gears, they probably adjusted the gear ratios.

The 7at should result in slightly inproved 0-60, which much depends on how aggresively they calibrated the 7ATs torque converter, as well as a lower cruising RPM which should improve gas mileage.
