g37 is in the shop

So the "engine service soon" warning light came out of no where Tuesday, and now my car is in the shop. It sucks cause it only has 1400 miles on it, but its cool when the light came on, and I was able to find the phone number of infiniti dealership near me through my navigation, and dial out from the car. They had a G35sedan waiting for me this morning, and I just talked to the service guy, and he does not have a final answer yet, because they are still running diagnostics, but he doesn't think its anything major. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

P.S. I have to say, G35 sedan auto does not disappoint me compare to my 6MT G37(driving/hp/etc), other than this loaner does not have any packages.

They just called. its got a bad thermostat, and it doesn't open and close all the time like it suppose to. They think they can get it replaced by end of today, but in any way, I can keep driving the loaner car.

The only mod I have done is replacing the interior lights w/ LEDs.

I would have figured the stupid gas cap wasn't on tight enough. So far I've gotten 3 CEL for loose gas cap, and I seriously click it about 10 times or so to try to prevent this. BS I tell ya!

Now I always pump premium, but sometimes i think the gas station isn't pumping what I think is Premium. Sometimes before the TSB was done with ester oil I would notice more engine knock sometimes. Then when I knew the last fill up was at a Shell or Chevron I'd not hear the noise. I think some of these stations are shifty and aren't pumping what they say they are.

I've suspected that of gas stations as well I wouldnt be surprised if some of them are pumping 91 through the 93. Cutting corners and cheating consumers. Oh well, the 2.95 premium is looking halfway decent I must say!

I hope that was not my case. I've gotten only premium gas from BP since day one, and only because I get a 5% cash back w/ my credit card. Also I have not noticed of any engine knocking. I was happy about their customer service though. They fixed and washed and cleaned the car inside and out. Even left a bottle of water in the car I guess for my trip home. :-)

Isn't it funny, interesting, ironic (or whatever word you want to use) how when someone actually does what they are supposed to do we call it good service? Wouldn't that be just be "service"? If they don't do it, that should be bad service. If they do more or better or faster, then, wouldn't that be "good service"?
