I was worried this was just me; guess I'm glad to hear there is a fix. I drove around to several pumps at the station until I found one that will fill it up . Guess I need to get the TSB fix...

I think this could be pump related...this happens to me at all the pumps of ONE specific gas station, but never anywhere else. Maybe this gas station's pumps dispense fuel at a faster rate than the standard. I just don't go there anymore, and I haven't had this issue anywhere else.

The issue on my Z was due to the fuel filler hose on the Gas tank itself. The float inside the hose would get stuck causing the pump to think the tank is full. There was a TSB fix for this but I truthfully didn't want Nissan anywhere near my gas tank to fix it. Required dropping the gas tank to repair.

A quick updated since it was brought up again. I've mentioned this problem about 3 weeks ago when it was due to a 7K mile service. Well, the service advisor just said that it's a "common" problem for G37(S) coupe. Basically he just told me to suck it up =_=

at 3600 miles, first time at a Shell station, cut off at 9 gallons instead of expected 15 gallons. very irritating, cannot believe system will not vent properly (waiting, rocking car does not work)...will try the slow fill method until get to dealer for TSB -- tank openings are under rear seat, so it should not be too bad for dealer. Vin: 111xxx Forum Vin number reporting would be good when tracking down problems.
