He did an "S" conversion a while back... Changed the front bumper and added a red "S" after his G37 emblem on the back... So yea, not really a Sport...

I think you mean "So yea, not a Sport at all..."

I should do the 4.5L V8 conversion and stick on the "45" from the M45 on the back of my car.

Good luck with whatever choice you make. Sounds like you need a sedan, Lexus maybe? Might be more of what you need.....

Not really a good analogy. The S indicates only that the car is either 6mt or a Journey with the sport package. Either way, both cars have the exact same engine unlike the V8 in the M45.

The Sport package is a lot more then a bumper and red "S" on the back of the car. Different wheels, suspension, seats, steering wheel, brakes, viscous LSD, paddle shifters, and aluminum pedals. So yeah, it is a good analogy. Unless all that is on the car then it might as well have some GTR badges on it.

People can do whatever the hell they want to their cars but don't act surprised if people call you out on it.

^^good job on calling that one out. Either way, it's the same exact engine in the S or non S. A good analogy is putting M badging on a non M BMW or AMG badging on a non AMG Benz. But again, good eye calling the guy out on the red S.

No, they're both just as bad. Putting a red S on the back of your car is just as lame as slapping on GTR badges are something. You're pretending your car is something it's not. It would be just as dumb if someone stuck the "x" badge on the back pretending they have the AWD option.

Don't know why people complain about the ride. The G37S rides like a Cadillac compared to my '06 TSX and '04 Z, especially over speed bumps.

Seat Solution! (Side Bolsters)

I did my own side bolster modification the day after I bought my G and it is actually quite simple. I have some great photos of the process, but they are too large to post here. If you want them let me know. I can send you the photos and answer any questions you might have.
