G37 w/ sports pkg - am i crazy?

So they found my dream car to trade in my 2005 G35.

Slate blue G37 coupe and graphite/aluminum interior with everything: Premium, Sport, Nav, Tech packages.

I test drove the coupe and fell in love with it, BUT I haven't tried it with the sports package and those 19 inchers. Keeping in mind I'll be driving this baby down Pico Blvd in Los Angeles (which if you're an Angeleno, you know is brutal).

My G35 with sports (18") is fine, but worried how teeth jarring this might be on the 37 with 19"!

Anyone with the sports package regret it?

the brakes is worth the 2k price tag along. you get the bumper, wheels, brakes, suspension. well worth it.

Hey, I am on Pico every morning going to USC, and the road is HORRIFIC. I had to sell my H&R springs because of the roads being so bad.

Get the sports....

My friend has an 04 g35 coupe w/ the 18's and after we went for a ride in my g37s he told me it was much smoother than his 35...u can't go wrong with sport! BTW we live in LA and know all about the f***** up streets..it handles the roads comfortably enough...no issues

I live in the pothole capital of the world with so much freeze and thaw here you are always in trouble on the street. I have SPORT and TEINS. Ha!!!
Go for the sport; it actually isn't as harsh a ride as some say it is. On a smooth highway it is pure sex.

i think the spring rate is more progressive than the g35. its a comfortable ride, but stiffens up pretty quickly when weight is put on in the corners. the ride is better than my 35 but feels stiffer in the turns.

Sports Package:

sport bumper and side skirts
revised steering ratio
LSD
19" sport wheels
Sport Brakes
revised suspension

all for $1800...it's probably one of the best car package out there in terms of value.

Go for the Sport package...but stay away from the curb side of Pico...or take Olympic? I'd say take 6th, but it's just as bad or worse....
