So I got my car back in July after insurance claims from a person who rear ended my Lancer came to a close...and I've been enjoying my G37! I try to find reasons to go out in the evenings just to drive the car! Until recently....

I live in the Woodbridge area of NJ and yesterday I drove into Shoprite and right there was a liquid platinum G37. After leaving shoprite and getting onto Rt 1&9 north, I get 2 lights away from Shoprite and a white G37 comes flying by me. Then today, in my small town, a 17 yr girl was driving a G37S in the same color AG car as me w/o tints though. Man! I feel less and less special now with this car since I didn't see much of it around the Port Reading area! What can I do to make the car appear to be unique again? Cuz gosh darnit... I keep looking at the GTR n keep wondering if I could have managed to get one n be the only one around for a while with it!

 

How do you know this girl was 17 y.o.? Thats kinda creepy man. haha j/p A nice car will get everyone wanting one and I guess everyone in your area has found out. Only thing I can think of is doing some mods to make you stand out.

Ha ha. you really thought you'll be unique owning this car? It's only a matter if time until you'll see them everywhere. And it looks like time has caught up already. That's what modding is for, to stay unique. Whether for performance or looks.

 

LoL, i know its a 17 yr old because I'm a teacher in town and when I looked out my classroom window, I had thought someone was driving my car away, which caused me to run to the school parking lot only to find my car there safe and sound. I was the only one in town with this car....let alone the purplish hue of silver color... now I'm not the only one...I don't want friends and family to think I'm at places I'm not.

I'm not sure if it was you. I didn't get a chance to see anything but the HID's behind me and then a flash of white 37 pass me by as I was taking the off-ramp where 1&9 meets with Rt 35.

I've seen a lot of 37's (not as much as the 3-series BMW's) in the Woodbridge/Edison area. Last weekend I saw a female with her man in the passenger seat stuck in the Menlo Park traffic in a LP37 and they were both looking and making out. Hmm.. wonder if it was the car or booty they were about. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for your G though lakeshore. I usually go to the Starbucks by Big Shots.

Any suggestions? I'm on a lease, I want something where I won't face penalties at the end.



I'm starting to think I of debadging the car and putting some of Bat's overlays on the tails. Are they cling-on or does it use paste?

I'm driving down Rt 9 to Jackson at 2 today n I'm going to count the number of 35's and 37's I see. I'll count them on my way back home to Woodbridge too since I'll be on my way back around 9....i think G's come out to play in the evening hours. Let's see what the tally comes out to be.

 

Get used to it... Especially with the 09s on the horizon, I think we'll start seeing even more.

glad this area does not have that many 37's. whew. like 5-10 i have seen over the past year.

 

You want to be "unique", do what half of the people here do. SKYLINE BADGE YO!. It makes your car "UNIQUE' and it sounds much better than G37..

Also, it increases you chance of getting laid by like 50%. Mostly from dudes though. Who ask, "oh snap, is that a skyline from japan?". haha
