Yeah I was born in Birmingham and my mom and brothers still live there. I hit a deer there about 8 years ago when I was visiting. Only going about 30 and it fvcked up the front of my car. Broke the headlight, grill and bent the bumper and it was not even that big. It flew across the road then ran off after I hit. Not sure if it lived or not.

I also believe the largest deer ever killed in AL was hit by a truck....go figure.

Doesn't look bad from the pics... Pictures can be deceiving though. The body shop will likely pull them out which I'd let them do if they can. You don't really want to start replacing body panels. I've heard alignment nightmares.

Just find a reputable body shop and they'll know what is best for the car.

Well just got the estimate. $3089 for the deer damage and $1130 for the other damage from the stupid brush in my garage hitting it. I only have to pay $500 and no insurance increase.

Did you trade insurance Co's with the Deer since it sounds like he hit YOU!

Ok, sorry 'bout that... Good thing you slowed down when you saw the family gathering because as you know these guys are the cause of some major wreckage and personal injury. Glad you're ok.

the pics don't look as bad, but hopefully everything goes your way and you can get your car back in shape.

I'm sure the hubby will pay for that some how! (LOL) The upside is, At least it will be good as new once repaired.
