Question about a slot in the front bumper grill

Question about a slot in the front bumper grill

In the middle mesh part of the front bumper, there is a open slot in the right section. What is that for? I think it is a slot where you can put your license plate, but i'm pretty sure i am wrong lol. Help please, thank ya

That is for the tech package.
That is where the laser for the Intel Cruise Control are located

Are you referring to the recovery hook receptacle? Refer to pages 0-3 and 6-13 of the owner’s manual.
