Infiniti charges a premium for buying parts.
If you work on your own cars and break a part or something get the part number from Infiniti and then call a Nissan dealer to get the part. Today I broke the Oil Pressure Switch and called Infiniti for the part number. They told me and the price of $18. There is a Nissan dealer closer to me so I checked for the same part number. The 350Z with the HR motor is the same, but the part cost $10. So if you replace stock parts call Nissan and check the price they charge. Thats a hell of a mark up.
Yea good to know. Thanks. Just wondering, what were you doing that made you break the oil pressure switch?

Grounding kit by the way KICKS A** for autos. I can't even feel it shift anymore... it just does it.
I'm pretty sure every dealer sets their own prices (whithin a reasonable percent) you could probably call another Infiniti dealer in another city and get the part for a few dollars less.

That doesn't surprise me in the least...You can also take your Infiniti to a Nissan dealership for oil changes and other types of work...Wait until you see the price differences for the same parts and labor...Just be sure you use a reputable Nissan service department...
