Driver Side Interior Hot

I've noticed in my car that the driver's side is warmer than the front passenger seat. It is mainly coming from underneath the steering wheel. The temperature is the same for both sides. I know that the Infiniti is really good with keeping their cars well insulated. Is this normal and is anyone having this problem? Please advise if any. Thanks!

Are you using the A/C or heat? If you have the climate control off and the airflow set to outside air you will experience that. When it gets a little warm and I dont want to run the A/C I set the air to "recirculate". That closes the vents to the outside and keeps the heat away from my footwell.
Hope that helps!!!
