Start/Stop Button

Question................Is there any way to start the car without using the start button? What if something went wrong with the button? Is there any way to use the key itself?

Well if your intellegent key's battery is dead you put the key in the slot under your truck pop, that will let you fire up the car but you still have to push the start button, so i don't know if this was the problem you were trying to avoid, or if you were wondering if you actually broke the start button how to turn the car over?

Maybe tony is just a regular old-fashioned kind of guy what prefers sticking his key to start the engine.

Your problem can be solved by wiring one of those clap-on lights so you can start the engine with a clap

Lolol...........No guys. Nothing is wrong with the button. I was just wondering if the key itself had any ability to start the car as well.

No, there is a thread somewhere on here about it. I guess I should have put remote start and not auto-start...

its kinda played out to be honest. everyone and their mother makes a push button now. It was cool back in the day in my S2000 because not a lot of cars had it. now it seems everything does. time for something new. like a finger print scanner starter or voice activated starting

Voice activated start? RU kidding? The Nav system voice function apparently doesn't respond well enough to find a gas station..... lol

Mine takes a blood sample then analyzes my DNA to make sure it is me, then the car starts. I dont see any Hondas with that.

co-sign. In 01 when I got an S2K that start button was really awesome. Now every car has em. Still a nice add on but not as unique as before.
