most of the negative comments are owners wanting Infiniti to correct what could be a near perfect car. It's not to say that the car is crap, only that some of the features and lack of common sense (nav safety feature crap, weak paint which exists on all Infiniti vehicles except the new EX SUV) should be corrected.

The G37 wants to compete with the 300 series BMW's but Infiniti is holding itself back. Most to all love their car and complaints are an effort to tell Infiniti to set their bar higher.

The only Major, Major problem that needs to be fixed on the G37 is that damn blind spot, I've got the turn around technique down now, but if I ever have a stiff back I might as well take a bus because I'm not going to be able to see behind me. I guess its come down to crappy pep boy blind spot mirrors FTW.

+1...My complaints a few posts up are just that...I want perfection...I will say that this car is 10x more refined then my 04 G35 coupe...It's amazing the improvements that were made...But for me, instead of a full integrated IPOD interface...I'd much rather Infiniti spend the money on paint that doesn't start to peel off once I hit 90mph...

Things like increased wieght are ridiculous and unacceptable...And the low torque number in comparison to the BMW 335 is also a mistake...

Overall the car is incredible...Both inside and out...As an owner you like to critique...But majority of us knew all of these things ahead of time and still made the purchase thanks to the bang for the buck with this car...

The paint thing just drives me crazy because it's been a problem since the 03 model G35's...I just dont understand how that doesn't get corrected...

I think the '09's are getting the self-healing paint similar to the paint that is on the new EX SUV.

If that's the case you can consider me bitter...Why I have to deal with this problem any longer is beyond me...You'd think that from 03-08 they'd have figured this out...Instead my OB will look like it was a shooting range target by the end of year one...

You'd think they would have fixed it by now.... Especially when they replaced the G35 with the 37. Would have been a perfect time to do so.....
