Cruise control

Hi! It seems that when the laser box is either blinded by a low sun or doesnt have a clear view of what's ahead due to rain, it is disabled.. However cruise control itself is also disabled... is there not a way to still use cruise control without the laser to calculate the distance from your car to the car ahead??

Yes.

Hold down the cruise control button for an extra few seconds and the "radr bars" will disappear. You'll then have "normal" cruise control.

LOL! I'm no super hero here. I picked up that tip on this forum a few months ago.

It's really not a matter of reading the manual because there is no way toppick-up on everything. It's a matter of experience and luck.
