Infiniti Quality Control Missed Something?

Should the rear window on the G37-S have weather stripping around the rear glass? Mine doesn't... check out the attached photo.

Ok, so should it be there or not? Should I have the dealer install it?

Your G37 looks the same as all of us. Our cars don't have the visible weather stripping.

That's the clean look you're looking at. The adhesive underneath is the weatherstripping.

Notice water doesn't pool there and channels down the sides back to the trunk and channels out there just below the rear tail lights. I'd say that's a feature vs channeling uncontrolled down your window which with high flow still channes down under the trunk and out near the lights.

You mean like instead of QC having made a mistake by allowing his car to leave the factory without weatherstripping, actually he made the mistake of jumping to a wrong conclusion without having first learned about the subject matter?
